Kearston makes their Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati debut in the production, Tiny Beautiful Things as Letter Writer #2.

“What does healing look like? How does it move?” Local dance collective Pones explored these questions and more in the Kara Walker: Cut to the Quick exhibition space. In a performance combining original spoken-word poetry and movement choreography by Teisha Murray, Of Nina is an homage to the late American singer-songwriter and civil rights activist Nina Simone, inspired by narratives in Walker’s artwork related to racism, sexism, sexuality, and identity. Viewer discretion is advised.

Participated in the 2020-2021 artistic mentorship program, INSIGHTS with Fotofocus Cincinnati.
“Insights is a FotoFocus educational initiative that supports the unique voices and perspectives of emerging regional artists through mentorship. Six artists developed a new body of work in collaboration with one another to bring their thoughts, feelings, and insights to life through a web-based presentation of still and moving images.”
